Quick Calls - PWA Destiny 2016

T. James Logan leads this episode of Quick Calls, and is joined by Newcomers Otto Allan and J.T. Shaw, as they discuss the Prairie Wrestling Alliance Destiny Show, from the Century Casino in Calgary, Alberta.  A snowy night outside, but the action was hot inside, with two "Beat the Clock" Matches, along with the final PWA match for Tony Cage, as he takes on Fabien Ribero with the Commonwealth Title on the line.  A great card all around.

Quick Calls - MPW Final Turn 2016

Mike is joined by Andre C, the Wrestling Mind Brian Hamilton, Sanefan Luke Nielson, and (unfortunately) Chris Perish, as they discuss the Final Turn on the Road to Riptribution 9.  The first official TV Taping for MPW Wrestling on Shaw TV included a fantastic triple threat opening match for the Pure Power Wrestling Heavyweight Championship, to the Main Event between Nightmare and Irishman for the MPW Heavyweight Championship.  Amazing card.

Mike discusses the Big Announcement by Monster Pro Wrestling this week, and Edmonton SPN's Role in that, along with his thoughts on recent independant shows in Alberta.  In particular, he talks about the PWA debut of Chelsea Green (aka Laurel Van Ness) taking on Gisele Shaw at PWA Fall Fever, as well as the amazing card from Springbrook with RCW Kryptonite.
This weeks Main Topic is how Smackdown and TNA storylines are working out better, because they are going with "Old School" Guidelines.

Quick Calls - CWE Destined for Greatness Tour (St. Albert) 2016

Mike is joined by the Wrestling Mind Brian Hamilton as they discuss the Canadian Wrestling's Elite Destined for Greatness Tour Stop in St. Albert, AB.  CWE has consistently produced great shows as they come into town, and tonight did not disappoint, especially with a main event of ECCW's Scotty Mac challenging Nick "Magnus" Aldus for the Global Force Wrestling Heavyweight Championship.  Six great matches, and one mid-card match that turned into a show-stealer.

Quick Calls - RCW Kryptonite 2016

T. James Logan leads off this review of the Kryptonite Show, presented by Real Canadian Wrestling, from the Springbrook Multiplex.  This Motley Crue of characters experiences an interesting card, highlighted by a 30-minute ironman match between Michael Richard Blais and Scott Justice, along with a British Commonwealth Title defense by Tiger Ali versus the imposing figure Big Jesse Youngblood.  Also on the card was a great sleeper match, mentor vs. pupil, as Dylan Knight takes on Tony Cage.
